Summary

In the present article, that is the second part of the work presented in issue no. 10 of this journal, we shall study the figure of American judges, with special emphasis on their recruitment methods. We shall discover a curious phenomenon: because each state that is part of the Federation has its own method to enter the judicature, we therefore have 51 recruitment methods. We shall also analyse the education received by American jurists and the election of judges in federal organs.
