Summary

The hydroskeleton plays a central role in the architecture of the trunk and the tail of the chaetognaths. The nervous system remains intraepidermic. A peculiar kind of myosynapse appears several times: it is located in zones where the "basal membrane" is thin (this structure represents the connective tissue of the animals)
