Summary

This article examines the details of an initiative for creating a new traditional dance. On 8 September 2005 a dance repertory was presented in Eibar including dances adapted for the day of Our Lady of Arrate by the dance group Kezka. They included features common to the dances of the region and other, more specific characteristics, and were designed to be performed as part of the celebration held at the Arrate shrine.
