Summary

This article analyzes the characteristics of postmodern cinema which can be appreciated in the films made by Alex de la Iglesia. For this purpose, a study is made of the film Balada Triste de Trompeta (Sad Trumpet Ballad - 2010) based on the characteristics attributed to postmodern cinema by Anxo Abuín, professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
