Summary

José Miguel de Barandiarán presents before the Congress a report in the form of a motion that he had sent to Telesforo de Monzón, Culture Counsellor of the Basque Government in November 1947. In it, he proposes that the study and teaching of sciences are promoted as a rule, together with a deepening of the knowledge of the country and of the Basque people in particular, as well as the dissemination of its culture based on the already-existing institutions and even, if necessary, encouraging the creation of other entities.
