Summary

The confrontations of class acquired a particular keenness in Castro Urdiales ; upon beginning the century XX. The fishermen still were preserving the old ideal ; of "equitable Justice" of the ancient Confraternity of San Andrés, and refusing ; to let the reins to the "poderos armadores". Because of this, these last opted ; in the year 1924 for creating other new fishermen society.
