Summary

The objective of the present article is to introduce some basic ideas on the syllabus of data processing for students to develop in university-level social sciences. Although there are various syllabuses which have been designed by international organisations, the author advocates that the syllabus is to accommodate to circumstances of each community, assuming certain starting points and in response to the objectives that are pursued.
