Summary

Conceptual and graphic contents of Basque book covers experienced a significant development between 1900 and 1936, according to the contemporary social and cultural movements. In this study we have analyzed the iconographic references and drawn letters by Basque graphic designers whose production evidences a symbiosis between avant-garde movements and graphic tradition.
