This work attempts to sketch the theoretical fundaments of a cultural dissemination project that pretends to reconstruct the events of the Napoleonic invasion in the Basque Country for the public at large without any specialisation in history or completely disconnected from it, by means of the wealth of documentation conserved in the Municipal Archives of Tolosa.
