The motion From signs of identity to multiculturalism. A review of Basque sculpture in the year 2000 approaches the review of Basque plastics in our era starting from the present situation of modern artists and the consequences that their legacy has had in the artistic panorama of the Basque Country. Also, it also deals with the plastic options of the two last decades with all they involve in terms of multiculturalism, of transversality in languages and of change of the concept of sculptural activity in the gestation and materialisation of ideas, in their presentation and their dissemination with the application of new technologies.
