Summary

The term "sustainable development" is a post-modern concept, which still today is some what confusing and which has meanings as diverse as the interlocutors we can imagine and which partially reflects a model of management that has been adapted to human needs and to the needs of the ecosystem. For this reason, applying a systemic vision of both realities "human reality and natural reality" would lead us to propose a Sustainable Civilisation in which political systems would tend towards a sustainable governance and institutions would reorganise so that their structures would not hinder decision making and execution of effective solutions for the problems of today´s complex reality.
