Summary

In this text there is a theoretical model that uses motor praxiology and ; ethnography to research traditional games from a contextualised point of view. This theoretical model has been applied to the study of the process of sportification of the "bitlles" gambling game as played in Catalonia in its conversion to a traditional sport.
