Summary

The aim of this research project is to study a hybrid space in which works of art (in this case, sculptures) can co-exist with specific objects that are intentionally aesthetic and designed for public use, which we shall refer to as furniture objects. Coming from the world of design, such objects possess certain aesthetic features and are somewhat suggestive of sculpture.
