The names of the most famous txistularis of the nineteen forties in Argentina appear in this text by Margarita Imaz. At the same time she describes the folkloric festivities at the Laurak Bat centre in Buenos Aires (the oldest of such centres), the Saski-Naski group and the cultural action of the Euskal Echea institutes directed by Basque members of the clergy.
