Summary

The author introduces two documents from 1474, the purpose of which was to improve relations with England. One of them provides reciprocity to the letter of safe conduct that had been received from the English ambassadors and is extensive to sailors and merchants from Gipuzkoa for two years. The second document is an annex to the previous letter ; it is a report on the background of the treaty that was signed and thereinafter informs on some novelties and conditions
