Summary

A photograph dated at the begining of this century and preserved in the CSIC Photographic Archives, shows a capital fron the Romanesque cloister of the cathedral, nowadays unknown. The capital illustrates the Four Rivers of Paradise, beside the following historical issues are sculpted in the other capitals: Job, Passion and Resurrection to complete a gospel iconographic message, meaning the spiritual reform carried out by Pedro de Roda, the contemporary bishop of Pamplona. This idea derivative from the iruniense cloister, is similar to the iconologic message derivative from the cloister sculpture of the French Daurade monastery
