Summary

The objective of this work is to establish the foundations and define the tasks of research, the object of which is to define the differentiating linguistic characteristics of the Spanish used by the Spanish-speaking population in San Sebastian, as representative of the modality the Spanish as spoken in the Basque Country, Up to now this modality had not been very well described. Its origin is quite recent and its development has been somewhat peculiar in social and linguistic terms.
