Summary

This work analyses the frieze on the door of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Tuesta depicting the Annunciation and the Epiphany. The iconography has been revised, detailing its iconological reading and establishing its Burgalese filiation, dating it at around 1300, this is one of the first samples of Gothic art in Álava
