Summary

We are experiencing a gradual split with the social boundaries in-herited from modernity. The technological revolution, neoliberal ideology and cultural individualism might be held to be primarily responsible. Social and cultural contexts are being constructed characterised not only by the emergence of new references for communal life but also by relevant conflicts and crises that open up an uncertain future yet to be defined.
