Summary

This article describes and analyzes the “cultural legacy” of Basque immigration in Uruguay. Thus, the research s the tangible and intangible patrimonial contribution made by Basque immigrants in their successive migratory waves. Throughout a cultural biography of cultural goods, the research demonstrates the patrimonial contribution made by Basque ethnic group in the different realms of culture.
