Summary

After analysing the meaning of the expression "cultural heritage", together with the meaning of the various adjectives that have been placed over the last two centuries next to the word "heritage", this motion analyses in depth the nature of the management of such heritage dividing it into three broad areas: planning, control and dissemination. The motion concludes by attracting attention on the needto incorporate civil society into the task of knowing, valuing and protecting our cultural heritage.
