In this chapter the author designs the historical framework ?of the reign of the Catholic Kings? in order to situate within it the new style that proceeds from Italy. It begins through architecture ?the palaces and churches in Alava? the temples in Gipuzkoa, and the plateresque style in Biskaia. The author exposes all the art of the First Renaissance in Navarre.
