Summary

Urban research has several levels of analysis, such as the spatial and social structure of the city, the existence of metropolization as a superior spatial form, the relationship between technology and space, etc. Once the spatial problems of the Basque Country are analyzed, a negative growth rate is observed, although this depends on the municipalities, changes in the real-estate market and the need to reach a consensus on a territorial model for the three Basque Historical Territories. It is necessary to recover the right to the city as well as the right for citizens to participate in their own future.
