Summary

The theatre profession in the Basque Country has moved from almost tribal, group, criteria to the current situation where there is freedom in contracting, and producers or companies are the customary formulas of production. The evolution appears clear and even though we have lost the global spirit of long ago, in which teams were formed with the intention of creating stable structures where the whole process was encompassed, from training to performance, including production. Now the process seems more random, although there is a much more consolidated continuity.
