Summary

This work offers a presentation of the general theory of knowledge from a critical point of view and with a possible application that includes the different kinds of knowledge. Cognitive rationality is presented as a kind of critical rationality without foundation or justification, but with criteria which must help us in the process of trial and elimination of error. Some criteria and meta-criteria are suggested at the end for the elaboration of epistemological rationality.
