Espido Freire (Bilbao, 1974) offers new perspectives on interpretation and construction of the contemporary Spanish tale. What are the literary references and original aspects that contribute to the tale? How are her tales structured? These and other questions will be covered in the present article, which aims to offer in essence a brief aesthetic-formal study of the tales of the author.
