Summary

This is a study on five blood systems in a sample of 250 basque people whose autochtonous character is fully warranted by both family names and ancestry. The same blood systems have been studied on a sample of 50 subjects called mixed population. One of their ancestors line, father or mather, is basque and the other comes from other regions of Spain. Comparisons have been made between both populations and also to the results obtained by other authors for the same blood systems.
