Summary

This study is based on school libraries and it is divided in two very different parts. The first one is about carried out in it and the services offered to the users. To do so, the study has been based in different specialists on the theme. In the second one the aim is to discover the use and acknowledgement the primary schoolboy has about libraries ; at the same time it is wanted to be known which is the activity the schoolboy carries out in the libraries to which he goes. The analysis done doesn?t forget either the personal attitude of the child towards the library. To elaborate this part a prove has been carried out by weans of inquiries made in primary schools in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The sample size has been 2882 inquiries distributed in 16 schools. Enclosed it is offered an exhaustif bibliography and information about the theme
