Summary

The communication sums up the process of discovery and study of the gothic wall paintings of Legarda church (Álava, Spain). On one hand the motives and its style are described, on the other hand it´s taken into account its state of maintenance with the analysis of the pathologies and reasons of damage and the technical study of the several constitutive materials ; this is all done whit the main purpose of knowing the development of the building and so, make the right project of conservation and restoration
