Summary

In this article, the author analyses the evolution of the job market in Pamplona in the first periods of industrialization of the city, paying special attention to the participation of women, and to family strategies. In this study, the masculinization of the job market is evident, as well as the decrease in the number of adult women workers in the first third of the 20th century with respect to the central decades of the 19th century.
