Summary

The Basque Economic Agreement is one of the pillars of Basque self-government that arouses the greatest consensus among the political parties of the Basque Country. The aim of this article is to analyse the opinion and position of the parties represented in the Basque Parliament during the 11th legislature (2016-2020). In this way, the axes of convergence and divergence existing within the Basque party with regard to the Basque Economic Agreement in a context after the cessation of ETA’s armed activity are studied. In order to carry out the research, a survey has been carried out and a series of interviews have been conducted with representatives of all the parties of the Basque parliamentary arc.
