Summary

The present article analyses some shows based on traditional Basque dances. After mentioning certain antecedents in the creation of shows based on traditional dances, a summary is made of the characteristics of four shows produced over the last few years. The following shows are analysed: Kondharian by the Argia group, Sutargi by the Aukeran company, Ingura Mingura by the Maritzuli company and Upeletan Erronka by the Laxok group. Finally, albeit in an abridged manner, we indicate certain trends that they can be deduced from the characteristics of these shows.
