Summary
This piece of research deals with poetry by new Basque poets that was published between 2001 and 2011. By new poets we understand those poets born between 1975 and 1995 who had their first book published as early as 2001 and whose published work comprises at least two or three poetry collections. Each writer´s style and themes are examined, as well as whether they have cultivated other literary genres, together with their presence in the mass media and common themes and features among them, in order to ascertain whether it is possible to speak about a new literary trend.
