Summary

Language is neither a cold nor an empty instrument. The Basque language exhibits categories and points of view that are not to be found in other languages. In the same way, Basque writers do not see the world as non Basque, since each language perceives reality through its own glasses, and Basque through its own telescopes or eyeglasses.
