The article approaches both fleet and resource aspects, describing the Basque fishing sector and the evolution of the different sub-sectors that are part of it. Thereinafter the article is a series of fleet summaries, in which details are provided both of the general characteristics of the fleets and of the state of there sources on which they base their activity.
