Summary

It has been analysed the microevolutive changes of boys in school-age, between 1944-45 and 1978-79, in comparison with five transversal studies carried out in Barcelona. The rhythm of growth get to be more regular and intense. This process reponds to a positive secular trend, which falls down at the 70´s. The main somatological modifications are a bigger length-type and a reduction of the trunk. It has also been observed a bigger "dolicocnemy" and relative foot-widness, furthermore a less "mesochiry" and length of the upper extremity.
