The author offers the main data on the territory of Iparralde, on the stimulation of technologies (which is mainly carried out by companies belonging to large groups with a capacity to subcontract). Some information is also provided on the dissemination and appropriation of technologies(fundamentally through cooperation projects between companies, although not so much between companies and support centres). He also informs on their transformation into economic activities (there is a technological park in which a range of new sectors has slowly crystallised).
