Summary

The objective of this work is to explore a range of works from 16th and 17th century Spanish literature that includes poems in Basque with Basque literature form the same period and, more specifically, the relation between the romance and Basque parts of these works, as well as to reflect on the ideological consequences derived from this mixture.
