Summary

At the beginning of the 20th century the seminarians of Bayonne had to abandon the seminar which had been occupied by order of the prefect, according to the new laws on Separation of the Church and State in France, and had to seek shelter in the city of Nay in Bearn in 1907. Immediately some of the fifty Basque seminarian refugees decided to create a bi-weekly internal bulletin, called "Gure Chokhoa" the first issue of which was published at the beginning of February 1907. Fortunately, academic Beñat Oihartzabal recently discovered in the Julio de Urquijo Fund in San Sebastián the collection of the 5 first issues of the magazine. I have made a short presentation of those issues: who were, from among the 50 Basque seminarians, the editors of the publication, the topics discussed, without however having been able to answer the question on why the magazine was discontinued.
