Summary

This article analyses the consensus set up for dominance of ideologies and the consequences of its consolidation. The economic downturn over the last few years demonstrates that the main criteria governing current economic and political actions is guided by Neoliberalism and consolidating these criteria makes it seem very difficult to be able to constitute a feasible alternative.
