Summary

This work intends to explain how linguistic rights are shaped within the ; educational system from a legal point of view. In order to achieve this, the research was started from two points: on the one hand, it explains the linguistic weight of the (basic) laws of education and on the other it explains the legal influences which focus on the status of Euskera on the teaching system. With this as a starting point, it analyses the linguistic law in the Basque Autonomous Community, Navarre and the French Basque Country, and it ends with various conclusions and proposals.
