The investment cycles in the energy sector are adopting a characteristic profile. For several years, a technology approaches its profitability threshold, without actually taking off. At a certain moment, the combination of a technology in a commercial phase and an adequate regulation framework generates a period of investments that can finish off a decade. Once this phase is covered, maturity is reached and investments decrease, as the quota assigned to this technology in the energy mix is attained. A correct positioning in these waves allows us to make the most in terms of related business opportunities.
