Summary

Prior to 1916, Irish influence in Basque nationalism is minimal, but after the Easter Rising, Ireland will occupy a place of preference, there even being a certain mystification of the Irish model. As of 1922, the relationship with Ireland is clearly visible in the establishment of the Emakume Abertzale Batza and in the visit of a Basque delegation to President De Valera. There is, however, no regular contact nor organized joint ventures
