Summary

The fundation of Holy Trinity Bidaurreta´s convent made by the "Contador Mayor" of the Catholic Kings Mr. Lope López de Lazárraga, is in direct relation with some monastic fabrics link with the monarchy itself and also whit some of the main personalities of the court. These religious constructions, all of them with similar features, have in common both the intervention of toledan master and several architectual elements we have brougth to comparation, which let us consider same characters for the church of Oñate. Thus, this building would turn into an isolated example among gothic architecture of the XVI century in the Basque Country
