Summary

The present comunnication wants incise in the iconography innovation at the Late Gotic Art, with especial emphasis on the Pietà und Lamentation. Both themes developed gradually over five centuries, but is in that moment of transit when have most importance. In Spain appear in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The examples of the Asunción de Nª Sª church in Santa Cruz de Campezo (Álava) present this iconography innovation at the País Vasco
