Summary

Dengue fever is an infectious disease caused by arboviruses and passed on by mosquitoes. It is endemic in tropical countries and in countries below the tropics, and the incidence of the disease in travellers returning from these areas is rising. The aim of the research was to find out how many patients were diagnosed with imported dengue fever at our Hospital between 2005 and 2008. We also wanted to find out the specific features of the clinical characteristics, diagnoses and treatment of the patients.
