Summary

Ajuriaguerra, after studying medicine, worked in Paris at the chairmanship of the department directed by Claude Henry and later by Jean Delay. In research, he collaborated with Lhermitte, Hecaen and Wallon. He was psychoanalyzed by Nacht in the Paris psychoanalytic society. He was appointed Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Bel Air Psychiatric Clinic in Geneva in 1959. In 1976 he was appointed Professor at the Collège de France.
