Summary

Meyer-Lübke does not agree on the words studied by Schuchardt to explain the relation between the Celtic and Basque languages. Schuchardt justifies these derivations through the relations between basque and breton fishermen during the Middle Age, but Meyer-Lübke says that the Basque people were farmers and no fishermen. Some examples are given to explain the relation between the Celtic and Basque languages
