Summary

The first project of the Basque studies program was the creation of a library. Its promoter was Laxalt who contacted with Veyrin (who made it known that at the time of his death this university would have preference in the acquisition of his files). Goñi´s library was thereafter acquired, as it contained a magnificent collection of books on Navarre. Mention is also made to the maps and posters, photographs and slides, microfilms, gifts, and the periodicals and newspaper library
