Summary

In this paper we analize different aspects concerning the founding of all Biscayan towns. We wanted to deal with their birth, importance and meaning in the exclusively rural world in which they were born. We also discuss the advantages which being together and surrounded by a wall meant for those people from the point of view of the code of law they received as well as the reasons which existed to carry out this policy of foundations
